MVP 502

The MVP 502 (KM-5000.2) reclining wheelchair allows the wheelchair user to lean back and relieve pressure. Unfortunately, slippage is a common problem with reclining wheelchairs. Whenever the wheelchair reclines or returns to an upright position, the user’s back slides against the back of the wheelchair, creating a snapping action. Not only is it uncomfortable, it can lead to skin breakdown and pressure sores.

In addition to poor positioning and less stability, slipping puts the user at risk of falling and injury. The innovative anti-slip design of the MVP 502 effectively prevents the wheelchair user from slipping on the chair.
